Food was good and I have nothing but very good memories from this trip. I booked a well decorated room with a living area and a couch, it was spotless too. Cheap restaurant provided Vietnamese dishes.

This place was absolutely incredible! the owners and staff were so welcoming and friendly, always making sure I had everything I needed. the dorm room was cleaned daily, and the little garden with hammocks and terraces was the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. Plus, they even gave me a discount on a kite lesson at their kitesurfing school - how cool is that?
The sofa bed in the apartment didn't actually fold out into a bed, which was a bit inconvenient. And if you leave any sweet food out, you might attract some sugar ants.
